The Great Spirit

This site was inspired by a chance meeting with a Native American Spirit and member of the Wiyot tribe. Of course, nothing really is "by chance" for God truly has a purpose for everything.

Since the launch of the site in 2003, the Great Spirit has seemingly watched over the site and periodically transformed fresh inspiration. The energy and wisdom brought to the site by this Spirit is summarized in the following:

Being Indian is an attitude, a state of mind, a way of being in harmony with all things and all beings. It is allowing the heart to be the distributor of energy on this planet; to allow feelings and sensitivities to determine where energy goes; bringing aliveness up from the Earth and from the Sky, putting it in and giving it out from the heart.
~ Brooke Medicine Eagle ~

With each passing day, those contributing to the site grows as visitors bring their own special positive energy to the site. Some visitors contribute energy by entering a favorite photo in our photo contest honoring the blind. Others choose to leave an uplifting message in our guest book filled with the thoughts of visitors from around the world. Still others tell a friend. And yet others send one of our free inspirational ecards.

More recently, visitors have begun sharing their recommendations for content they believe will make the site even more peaceful and even more inspirational. As an example, Juan Bernal of Miami, Florida recommended that we serve the clip of "handicapped" Tony Melendez performing for Pope John Paul II when he visited Los Angeles in 1987. Our special thanks to Juan for this unbelievably moving video clip that has, in many ways, become the heart of the site.

Transforming all of this energy into what we hope will be a delightful web experience for you is the challenge for Cyndi Craven, the site's web maestro and truly one of the most gifted web designers. To learn more about Cyndi or to learn how she can make magic for your special web project, please click here.

We hope that you will feel the sense of peace embracing the site and that you will return periodically to renew your sense of peace and to learn more about how you can experience a life full of quantum leaps.
